Celebrating Success: Harry Brearley Completes Aviva’s Rising Star Programme

At Adler Fairways, we believe that developing the knowledge, skills, and confidence of our people is key to delivering long-term value for our clients, our business, and the wider industry. That’s why we actively support opportunities that encourage professional growth and inspire future leaders.

One such opportunity has seen Development Executive, Harry Brearley, take part in the inaugural cohort of Aviva’s Rising Star Programme, a 10- month professional development initiative designed to support high-potential individuals within the insurance industry.

The programme combined face-to-face workshops with dedicated mentoring, helping participants build essential capabilities across areas such as emotional intelligence, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving. With a strong emphasis on self-awareness and future thinking, the aim was to accelerate personal growth, support career progression, and inspire a meaningful impact in the insurance broking world.

Reflecting on his experience, Harry shared:
“Taking part in the Rising Star Programme has been a really rewarding experience. It challenged me to think differently, build confidence in my abilities, and develop skills that I’ll carry forward throughout my career. I especially valued the opportunity to collaborate with others across the industry and explore how we can help shape its future. I’m grateful to Adler Fairways for supporting my development and to Aviva for putting together such a thoughtful and engaging programme.”

Harry embraced every opportunity, collaborated with peers across the industry, and rose to the challenge of presenting innovative ideas on how to attract the next generation of talent into the sector.

“We’re incredibly proud of everything Harry has accomplished during his time on the Rising Star Programme. From day one, he approached each challenge with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a clear desire to grow. His ability to apply new skills, collaborate effectively with peers, and bring fresh thinking to industry-wide issues is a real credit to him. Harry’s journey so far is a great example of what’s possible when talent is supported and given the opportunity to thrive.”  said Lillo Pitrolino, Regional Director at Adler Fairways

Dan Wall, Learning & Development Consultant from Aviva congratulated Harry “Harry was an outstanding delegate, consistently positive, enthusiastic, and incredibly supportive of his peers.  He’s a real credit to Adler Fairways, and I have no doubt he has a bright future ahead of him.”

We’re excited to see what Harry accomplishes next and remain committed to creating opportunities that support personal development and drive positive change across our business and the wider insurance industry.
