FAQs

Can any instrument be insured?

Yes! Any instrument can be insured, from ukulele to cello, flute to grand piano.

What is public liability insurance for musicians?

Public liability insurance for musicians is a type of insurance that protects you from financial losses if you are found legally responsible for causing injury to a person or damage to property while performing. Sometimes, venues ask musicians to have public liability insurance as an essential performance requirement.

Why would a musician need employer's liability insurance?

A musician might need employer’s liability insurance if they have people working for them, such as session musicians or technical crew members. Employer’s liability insurance protects musicians from financial losses if an employee claims compensation for illness or injury that occurred due to their work.
