We are proud to share that Christian Poulsen, a valued member of the Adler Fairways team, has been honoured with the 2025 Francis Perkins Award by the British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA).
This prestigious award established by BIBA’s first Chair, Francis Perkins, recognises individuals who have made a significant and lasting contribution to the insurance broking profession. Christian’s dedication to the industry spans over five decades, including senior leadership roles and ownership of E C Parker & Co Ltd, which became part of Adler Fairways in 2022.
His long-standing support of professional standards is reflected in over 35 years of voluntary service to the Chartered Insurance Institute, including a term as president of the Folkestone and South Kent institute. He also served for 12 years on BIBA’s SME Brokers’ Advisory Board, championing the needs of smaller brokers across the UK.

He has given up a significant amount of his time to represent the needs of BIBA members and has been a worthy sounding board for the BIBA team throughout the time he dedicated to BIBA.
