Downs Syndrome UK selected as a winner in the 2023 Aviva Broker Community Fund awards

Following our submission for Down Syndrome UK into this year’s Aviva Broker Community Fund awards, we are delighted to announce that Down Syndrome UK has been selected as a winner to receive a funding award of £2,500!

Aviva received over 160 entries into this year’s awards, and we are thrilled that Down Syndrome UK have been recognised for the phenomenal work and support they provide to children, young adults and families throughout the UK.

Nicola Enoch, CEO, Down Syndrome UK said: “The additional funding that Aviva has awarded DSUK is incredible, and I am so thankful to them and Adler Fairways for championing and raising awareness of the support available from DSUK to families with a child or young person with Down syndrome. With families often unable to access the specialist care their child needs in the crucially formative early years, this funding will go towards enabling DSUK to provide more families access to physiotherapy and early development, helping children to both physically develop and have a greater chance of communicating and engaging with their families, friends and communities.”

Anthony Adler, CEO, Adler Fairways said: “Community is one of our core values at Adler Fairways, and we are committed to making a meaningful contribution to the communities we serve through our business practices and social responsibilities. Aviva share this vision and are focussed on working in partnership with brokers to help build brighter futures for our communities – a partnership that we are proud to champion and be a part of. The Aviva Broker Community Fund initiative is fantastic, and I am so delighted that through this we have been able to help Down Syndrome UK secure the additional funding they so rightly deserve.”
